Ming thought his father didnt know how to love. <> While growing up ming worked as a houseboy cleaning. ming father worked in a restaurant as a dishwasher. <> And e was always tired because he would only get two hours of sleep a day. <> In the Number One Son there is alot of diferent things going on such as family wise. <> Ming has a couple of things to deal with when he comes back home for his father's funeral. <> Since the age of five ming has been working as a houseboy. Ming had alot of feelings about his father and they were not good feelings they were <> harsh resentment feelings not just as a child but as a young adult because he left him to raise a family, mings mother did not call ming the day <> of his fathers death because she didnt want ming to lose his job and because she didnt want to wake the boss because he boss wouldve got mad. <> grandfather choak goes to the house to pick up ming and go see the neighbors because the family doesnt have enough money for the funeral so they <> go ask a couple of people for donations so the funeral can continue on. Kwo Kim, Mr. Chung, and the widow loo all gave money because they felt bad <> for mings family but they all mostly felt bad for ming since he had to take care of his family. <> The bad point of being the number one son being the number one son is taking the role of his father to take care of his 6 brothers and sister and the entire <> family. the good point of being the number one son is that he gets to go back and finish school before doing anything else. <>
